Aangan restaurant- Al Qusais- Dubai UAE

A medium size restaurant at the edge of Qusais almost on the border of Sharjah specializing in Punjabi food esp tandoor items I have tried the veg fried rice and lassi before from here but as take away and that was good, we decided to dine in to feel the real experience of the place.

There was not much of a rush as one would expect on a weeknight but still almost all the tables were occupied. The customary pickled onion, mango pickle and green mint chutney was kept on our table. We ordered the Masala pappad as starters. The tomatoes used in the masala were absolutely RED and so fresh it gave off a great flavor.

Next came the Garlic naan and paneer butter masala with Black pepper chicken. The naan was dripping in butter(just the way I like it) with a nice crispy sprinkling of garlic. The paneer butter masala usually fro other restaurants are swimming in milk cream but the curry here was just tomatoes and onions with masala which gave a really nice flavor along with the paneer which was homemade as so fresh and delicious!  My partner gave his thumbs up for the balck pepper chicken gray as well.

Service is good the waiters are a bit slow in the talking department but really attentive and the food took around 15 minutes to reach our table.

Really liked the place and of course will be back for more Punjabi delicacies!
